Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open!
Please visit the Enrollment Info Tab, and then click on the appropriate Google Registration Form.
The registration fee of $65 is non-refundable.
We are licensed with the state’s Office of Child Care (license #47525) and are accredited with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). We also participate in Maryland Excels.
Our school will continue to accept registrations if openings remain in the program. Parents can call the school office at 301-829-6364 for more information. You can set up a tour and/or request an informational brochure. You can also contact the school’s Director, Michelle Rippeon by email at director@mtairydaycare.com.

Preschool 3's: Tuesday/ Thursday 9:15 AM- 12:15 PM
PreK 4's: Tuesday/ Thursday 9:30-3:30
PreK 4's: M/W/F 9:15 AM- 12:15 PM (with an optional add on lunch bunch!!)

Welcome to Mt. Airy Daycare and Learning Center!
We are a Preschool and Learning Center that serves children ages 18 months through 14 years. We are licensed with the State of Maryland and are renewing our state accreditation with the State of Maryland this Spring. We have a highly qualified staff that are committed to providing the best early learning foundations for your children using developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom. We have a 2, 3 and 4 year old Preschool Program. Our Extended Care Preschool Program services families that desire a full-time preschool with extended hours during the day. We also have a wonderful School Age program. We provide transportation to Twin Ridge for our children that attend school there. Carroll County children can use the school bus that picks up at our center. Our school is located in the heart of Mt. Airy. Since 1992, Mt. Airy Daycare and Learning Center, Inc. has been privately owned by the Hauptman Family, residents of Carroll County MD. Being family owned we have avoided the business structure of larger nationally recognized childcare centers.
